Senior Moment is Now Senior Momentum
Published on August 26th, 2010A “senior moment” is no longer a bad thing. Can’t find keys? Who cares. Misplaced eyeglasses? Big deal, just get another pair. Seniors are feeling better than ever. Worrying about senior moments ranks low on the lose sleep meter. The Vi Next Chapter Study interviewed about 800 U.S. adults between the ages of 65 and 80 and found that 82% feel they have “so much to look forward to” and 83% say they feel “younger than they are.” Seniors today “are relatively healthy, very active, engaged in their lives, their interests and their communities.” 72% said independence is liberating and equates to freedom. Freedom for seniors comes in many forms. One form that feels especially good is freedom to live in your house as long as you desire. Health issues? Physical changes? Stay where you are! Remodel your house to be an aging-in-place home. Not sure what that is? Click here.
