Sassafras Needs Your Help

Plans for a new, well sort of new,  park for children of all physical abilities called “Sassafras” are underway. The previous “All Children’s Park” in Laurel Hills (Raleigh, NC)  must be renovated to meet new building codes. Thus, the idea to make Sassafras Park all accessible, was born.  This park promises to provide laughter and entertainment to all children, regardless of physical challenges.  Please consider making a donation or at least spread the word.

The newly formed CARE (Council for Ageless Residential Environments)  of the Raleigh/Wake County Homebuilders Association is planning a fundraiser on October 20th at NuWave from 4:00 – 7:00.  A $25 ticket gets you BBQ, beer tastings from local breweries and participation in an auction being held that evening.  The better the ticket sales, the higher the donation to Sassafras.
