If You’re Happy and You Know It, say “I’m Old!”

Published on August 18th, 2010

Youth may be wasted on the young but not happiness.  That comes with age.  Or so are the findings of a Gallup-Healthways survey reported on LiveScience.com.  Happiness can be measured on two levels, “overall happiness (called global well-being) and day-to-day experiences of specific feelings such as stress and happiness (called hedonic well-being). “  Apparently, turning 50 starts the upswing in both levels.  Why do we feel better later? One obvious fact: kids are moving out which reduces stress. Also age encourages us to become more aware of the good days that lay ahead rather than the bad days behind us.  Another way to reduce stress and be happy about the future? Know that your home is ready for whatever comes your way.  Sadler Construction has the key to happiness with our LifeStage Design.   We can renovate your home (or build you a new one) that allows you to live there as long as you choose.  Neither age or physical changes will hinder your ability to move safely and freely in your happy home.  Contact us and let’s get the party started.
